The development of individuals and teams through learning activities is key to the strength and success of all organisations. Training Grant for smaller councils

Up to £100 is available for clerk training to councils with a turnover of less than £25,000:

County Training Partnership - Training Partnership Members

Hampshire's Local Council Development Team (LCDT), which is a County Training Partnership constituted under the National Training Strategy for Parish and Town Councils, is led by Hampshire ALC as its accountable and administrative body. The aim of the delivery partnership is to impart the knowledge, skills and processes required to maintain and improve our successful councils.

The Chairman of the LCDT is Steven Lugg, and the ALC Lead Officer for managing, organising and co-ordinating the calendar of events is Louise Channell, our Executive Officer.

The LCDT's delivery is framed by the Strategy document published in 2007.

The LCDT is always interested in exploring new customer demand or talking to potential partners in delivery. Please contact the Executive Officer for an informal discussion.
