Parish Reps elected to South Downs National Park Authority
Steven Lugg at the ALC congratulates the following on their successful election as Hampshire Parish Representatives on the South Downs National Park Authority:
Results were -
East Hampshire: Cllr Minette Palmer, Selborne PC (62.5% of the total vote in EH)
Winchester: Cllr Barbara Holyome, Bramdean and Hinton Ampner PC (53% of the total vote in W)
54% of the eligible councils returned a valid vote to the ALC offices, by the cut-off time/date of midday on 16th February 2010.
DEFRA, the interim CE of the shadow SDNPA, and NALC have all been informed.
